Makeup agrees with Iran actor Akbar Abdi

The opening ceremony of 36th Fajr Film Festival is set to pay homage to Akbar Abdi for all the years of his diligence in film making industry.

Abdi has appeared in a plethora of movies and has always had a great impact on the viewers either by making them laugh or leave them thinking and even shed some tears. His intact performance in the phenomenal movie ‘Mother’ by Ali Hatami has definitely made his audience shed some tears.

He has also been in some movies directed by Iran award winning actor, Abolhassan Davoodi. To describe Abdi, Davoodi says, ‘The fact is that Akbar Abdi is one of the stars of Iran cinema who is supper talented and also has multi- character acting on his resume.’

The director adds, ‘Abdi is an exceptional talent and has the most makeup friendly face in Iran cinema history so he could play various roles.’
